Alcohol & Drug Rehab Options In Morrow County, Ohio

There are 20 drug and alcohol rehab centers within a 25-mile radius of Morrow County and most of the facilities are located in Mount Vernon, Marion, and Mansfield.

Treatment options available in the county also offer more than one treatment program, and the treatment services you may find include:

Medical Detox

During medical detox, drugs and alcohol are allowed to completely clear your system. If you’ve abused drugs long-term, coming off of them will likely lead to withdrawal symptoms.

When not treated properly, withdrawal symptoms can increase the risk of life-threatening relapse and overdose. To ensure you’re stable, medical professionals may prescribe medication to ease withdrawal.

Inpatient Treatment

Inpatient treatment or residential treatment involves living at a treatment center 24/7.

While there, you participate in individual therapy, group therapy, support groups, dual-diagnosis treatment, and addiction education. It’s often recommended for people with severe substance use disorder.

Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient treatment is recommended for people with mild to moderate addictions and those who have a strong support system at home. Instead of staying at a rehab facility for the entirety of your treatment, you go to treatment sessions during the day and then go home afterward.

There are three types of outpatient programs. They include partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), and standard outpatient programs.

Medication-Assisted Treatment

During medication-assisted treatment (MAT), your healthcare provider will prescribe medication that is specifically for treating opioid/opiate and alcohol addiction.

They ease cravings, lessen withdrawal symptoms, and heal some of the damage done due to drug abuse. On top of that, MAT also includes behavioral therapy.

Payment Options Accepted In Morrow County, Ohio

If you’re stressed about how to pay for addiction treatment, it may not be as complicated as you might think. Medicare, Medicaid, and most private health insurance plans cover a portion of the cost of treatment.
