Alcohol & Drug Rehab Options In Marion County, Ohio

Marion County currently has 9 drug and alcohol treatment centers, and most are located in Marion, Delaware, Galion, and Bucyrus.

These rehab centers offer treatment services such as medical detox, inpatient and outpatient care, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT).

Medical Detox

During medical detox, medical professionals at a detox center help you through the detox process with medications and other forms of treatment. Medications are used to manage your withdrawal symptoms and ensure your stability.

Inpatient  Treatment

Inpatient treatment involves 24/7 supervision from medical professionals and is generally best for those with moderate to severe addiction.

While in inpatient treatment, you live at a residential treatment facility and participate in behavioral therapy, case management, group therapy, and mental health counseling.

Outpatient

Outpatient treatment is for those with mild substance use disorders and those with a strong support system at home. Since there is less supervision, you need people around you to support your addiction recovery. When you’re not in treatment, you stay at home.

There are three types of outpatient rehab programs: standard outpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), and partial hospitalization programs (PHPs).

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) includes medication and therapy. Healthcare providers prescribe medication that eases cravings, lessens withdrawal symptoms, and heals some of the damage done by substance abuse.

MAT treats opioid and alcohol addiction and some of the medications used include buprenorphine and methadone.
