How Our Mental Health Program Works

Ohio Recovery Center’s mental health treatment program is short-term, lasting 14-18 days. We provide 37 inpatient beds dedicated to mental health patients alone.

If you arrive from Dayton seeking inpatient care, you will be able to stay on our 55-acre campus in gender-specific housing.

Initial Assessment & Evaluation

During the first 24 hours of your admission, we perform an intake assessment to determine safety as well as treatment planning. Some of our techniques may include a safety assessment, a review of medication, or a Columbia assessment (C-SSRS).

Once an assessment has taken place, your treatment team begins working on an individual treatment plan for you.

Individualized Treatment Pathway

Once a specific treatment plan has been determined, you can participate in evidence therapies which we provide. Whether your treatment plan suggests you partake in 12-step facilitation therapy or individual counseling, group therapy leads the way.

Additionally, you can take part in certain wellness, coping skills, and psychoeducation groups.

Aftercare Planning

Once you’ve completed a treatment program, it’s important to utilize aftercare options. We staff an aftercare coordinator who works with you and your support system to make certain you have the resources available to take part in aftercare options.
