Dr. Fikret Terzic

About Me

Fikret Terzic MD, MS attended the University of Banja Luka School of Medicine in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina and has 27 years of professional experience in clinical care, clinical education, and research. He began work as a general practitioner in rural Bosnia and helped patients with the treatment of a variety of mental disorders among other medical issues he confronted. During the war in Bosnia, he also has served as a front-line physician dealing with life and death situations and treatment of PTSD across various populations.

Upon arrival in the USA, his interest in the growing problem of drug addiction prompted him to enroll in a Master’s of Science in Applied Health Behavior Research. He applied this knowledge to his work in auditing medical provider treatment documentation in a variety of addiction centers.
