Alcohol & Drug Rehab Options In Clark County, Ohio

There are 13 different drug rehab centers in Clark County, and most are located in Springfield, Xenia, Fairborn, and Urbana. These treatment centers may provide multiple treatment programs like detox, inpatient and outpatient services, and medication-assisted treatment.

Medical Detox

Medical detoxification (detox) involves a healthcare provider supervising your detox process. They prescribe medication to address any withdrawal symptoms that show up, monitor your vitals, and ensure you’re stable enough to go on to the next step in your recovery.

Inpatient Care

Inpatient treatment (also known as residential treatment) is the most intensive form of addiction treatment. It requires you to stay at a treatment facility so you’re supervised 24/7 while you participate in therapy, support groups, mental health care, and addiction education.

Outpatient Care

Outpatient treatment offers similar services as inpatient care. However, instead of staying at a treatment facility, you go to treatment sessions during the day and then go home at night. This allows a little more flexibility with your schedule.

There are three types of outpatient treatment: standard outpatient, partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs). No matter the program, you’ll likely have access to behavioral therapy, case management, and group activities.

Medication-Assisted Treatment

Anyone living with opioid/opiate or alcohol use disorder will likely be recommended medication-assisted treatment (MAT). MAT involves prescription medications approved to treat the two disorders and behavioral therapy so that both your body and mind are treated.

Payment Options Accepted In Clark County, Ohio

Paying for addiction treatment is not as difficult as you may think. Private health insurance and Medicaid and Medicare both cover some of the cost of treatment. If you’re looking to see exactly how much it covers, contact your insurance provider or treatment center of choice.
